I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. I received an M.S. in Economics from the University of Kentucky (2017) and a B.S. in Economics from North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh (2016).
Macroeconomics and International Economics.
My current research mainly focuses on the effect of financial systems on international trade, economic growth, and poverty. My job market paper looks at the impact of banking sector development and stock market development on bilateral trade and the macroeconomic aspects of the effect of financial systems on international trade for poor and non-poor countries.
